Plant Of the Month: Ariocarpus
We have just acquired a entire collection of very old and rare ariocarpus from Houston club member Leroy Kellogg.
Ariocarpus are from Southern Texas and Northern Mexico, and many are endangered. They are popular for their showy flowers and fat tubers.
We have priced these beauties low so that everyone can have one. Come see this amazing addition to the nursery!
We are finally stocked back up for the Spring! Lots of new stuff! Mexican fence posts, San Pedro's, tons of sedum, cool caudexes, echeverias, desert roses, paddle plants, and on and on!
Come get stuff for your yard (before it gets so hot), and neat things to spruce up your patio and home.
New shipment of rare Mexican caudex plants! Calibanus Hookerii is a cold hardy caudex/ grass that is so cool. Dioscorea Mexicana is a turtle shell ultra-low water gem that makes a strong vine that can grow 100 feet. Ibervillia lindheimerii is a clean nice caudex that makes a sweet vine that always has little yellow flowers. Jatropha Berlandierii is called Buddha's belly, because it's a big ball with a cool canopy of leaves and pink flowers. This stuff is available, but has no roots yet, so don't water until you see growth!
